Considered to be the greatest magician in the universe, Isis forced the god Ra to reveal his secret name to her, resurrected her husband Osiris after his dismemberment by Set, and protected the son of Horus the Younger Amset. Her functions also included those of motherhood, healing the sick and marital devotion. She is depicted here with the disk & horns she absorbed from Hathor.
